A time ago I looked around for project idea's for my Embedded Master TFT Development System I looked at a movie from Microsoft showcasing possible uses for .NET Micro Framework. In this movie one thing clearly stands out, keeping updated. I thought this was a good idea so I started working on this project. It displays the current Time and Date. The weather for one or more locations and the latest headlines for your favorite RSS feeds. Possible additions that I thought of are stock quotes, but that's not implemented right now.

Main features that are included:

• Getting and displaying the current weather
• Getting and displaying RSS Feeds
• Synchronize with a NTP Time server
